Redwood National Forest Trip

We had the best trip up to the Redwood Forest! The trees are amazing and simply majestic. We would love to go back some day. We also drove on up into Oregon just for the heck of it. It was also very beautiful.

Justin and I standing in the trunk/roots of a fallen giant! This was on the Avenue of the Giants Drive

Avenue of Giants

Justin drove the truck onto a huge tree that was hand cut in 1900. Gracie looking up at him...

This was literally a "tree house" made from a single hollowed out tree. Gracie's new home

The Drive Thru Tree

The truck SQUEEZING thru the tree!

Justin inside a tree lol

Seriously, these trees are MASSIVE!

The elk just stood there watching us!

This sign reads: "We are taking reservations for weddings when this display is ready 600 years from now". It's the much smaller Cathedral tree

All of us at the top of the mountain overlooking the trees and the ocean

Hailee liked the air train ride

Grace not so much

This is the Brotherhood Tree. It is the largest one there and I think maybe in the world... not sure on that fact though. I can't remember

Graduation and Family time!

This last week was amazing! Mom, Dad, Luke and
my friend Ashley came out for my graduation from Nursing school. We had a ton of fun and these were some of the great pictures from the 3 days they were all here. Unfortunately I only have a few graduation and pinning ceremony pictures so I'm waiting for everyone else (mom and dad and ashley to upload their pictures too).

Here's Luke overlooking the ocean from his perch

So Justin and I and Ashley all buried Luke and made him into a very large breasted mermaid

San Francisco Zoo!

This last Friday we decided to take the girls to the San Francisco zoo. Gracie loves animals and we thought she was finally at an age that she would enjoy it.

Hailee thought this lion was great but Gracie didn't like this...

Happy Hailee!

Gracie and Mommy when we first got to the zoo

Hailee mostly rode in the stroller the whole time.

Daddy and Gracie

Gracie kept pointing at different animals and saying things like "whoa!" and
"pretty". She also enjoyed pointing out every bird she saw, anything that looked like a bug, and every body of water there.
It was a fun day and a really great little trip for all of us.
